About Our Founders

Eric Bork | CEO of AVNI Lab

Eric Bork is the CEO of AVNI Lab. We are a paid traffic agency which specializes in Facebook / Instagram & Tik Tok Ads.

At the age of 20, Eric achieved his childhood dream of becoming a professional skateboarder for Santa Cruz Skateboards. This feat allowed him to travel the world, immerse himself in diverse cultures, and discover the dynamic universe of online marketing and social media early on.

Following his skateboarding career, Eric transitioned into the action sports industry, where he honed his marketing and leadership skills. He held several key positions at Ogio Backpacks, and demonstrated proficiency in overseeing sales programs with major retailers such as Best Buy, Target, and Sport Chalet. Eric's responsibilities extended from managing the design and production process in China to ensuring successful sell-through in-store. His tenure at Ogio provided invaluable hands-on experience in supply chain management right before the ecommerce boom.

After his time in the corporate world, he decided to work for himself and learn web design, video production and social media management. This diversification of skills enabled him to develop a profound understanding of “what makes people click” and engage with a brand. This was particularly evident while he was managing the social media of some of the biggest names in skateboarding such as Nyjah Huston and Paul Rodriguez.

This innate passion for marketing and helping brands grow led Eric to specialize in Facebook advertising. He ran ads, as a team of 10+ team members, for one of the top 5 companies in the world, watching hundreds of thousands of dollars in daily ad spend. Since then he has managed about 15 media buyers and millions in profitable ad spend.

AVNI Lab was born in 2017 & began as a podcast interviewing some top entrepreneurs, athletes and digital marketers.

Once highly trained and experienced Eric decided to focus full time on paid traffic. With years of big and mid size agency paid traffic experience AVNI Lab became solely focussed on paid Facebook Instagram & Tik Tok traffic.

Mikey Taylor | Co-Founder

Mikey Taylor, Southern California native, professional skateboarder turned serial entrepreneur and city council member of his hometown.

Mikey is a retired professional skateboarder who left an indelible mark on the skateboarding world, participating in elite action sports events such as X Games.

Transitioning to entrepreneurship, Mikey founded multiple companies. He recognized the potential in the emerging craft beer industry and leveraged his skateboarding-inspired marketing expertise to co-found Saint Archer Brewery. The venture swiftly became one of the fastest-growing breweries in California, subsequently being acquired by Molson/ Coors.

Following this triumph, Mikey set his sights on the commercial real estate market, leading him to establish Commune Capital, a private equity firm. The firm holds a central principle of positively influencing the cities where they construct or enhance infrastructure. As President and Managing Principal, Mikey continues to drive Commune Capital's growth and impact.

Balancing his professional endeavors, Mikey cherishes his role as a devoted family man. He and his wife, Jen, are proud parents to four beautiful children: Scarlett, 11, Amelia, 9, Elliot, 3, and their newest addition, Vivian, 1. They reside in Thousand Oaks, continuing to contribute to the community that Mikey has always called home. He continues to shape his community, not only through his professional accomplishments but also through his dedication to giving back and making a positive impact. His story serves as an inspiring example of how one individual's passion, talent, and commitment can transcend boundaries, leaving a lasting legacy that extends far beyond the skateboard.
